Short Biography
Dr. Chengjiang Long is currently a Principal Scientist in JD Digits AI Lab at Silicon Valley (a part of JD.COM) since June 2020. Prior to working at JD.COM, he worked as a Computer Vision Researcher/Senior R&D Engineer at Kitware from February 2016 to April 2020. He also worked as an Adjunct Professor at University at Albany, SUNY from August 2018 to May 2020, and was an Adjunct Professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) from Jan 2018 to May 2018. He received the M.S. degree in Computer Science from
Wuhan University in 2011 and a B.S degree in Computer Science and Technology from Wuhan
University in 2009 under the supervision of Prof. Jianhui Zhao. He got his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2015 under the supervision of
Prof. Gang Hua.
During his Ph.D. study, he worked at NEC Labs America and GE Global Research as a research intern in 2013 and 2015, respectively. To date, he has published over 45 papers including top journals such as IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (T-PAMI) and the International Journal of Computer Vision (IJCV), top international conferences such as Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV) and AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), and owns 1 patent. He is also the reviewer for more than 20 top international journals and conferences. His research interests involve various areas of computer vision, machine learning, artificial intelligence and computer graphics. He is a member of IEEE and AAAI.
